About The Position

This is an applicant pool for part-time Psychology Associate Instructor positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants must meet specific minimum qualifications, which include holding a Master's degree in psychology, or a Bachelor's degree in psychology combined with a Master's degree in a related field such as counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience, or social work. Alternatively, a valid California Community College Credential in the discipline area or equivalent qualifications are acceptable. A key requirement is demonstrated sensitivity and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students, including academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic diversity. Requirements

• Master’s degree in psychology.
• OR bachelor’s degree in psychology AND master’s degree in counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience, or social work.
• OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area.
• OR the equivalent.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
