About The Position

The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for the Outreach department. This role involves managing employee time records, handling open shifts, processing vacation requests, and tracking FMLA cases. The coordinator will serve as a central communication point for staffing issues, ensuring compliance with pay practices and union regulations, and aligning department staffing with budget and patient needs. Additionally, the role includes assisting employees with the ATSS system, tracking absenteeism and tardiness, managing the Attendance Line, and providing payroll support. The position requires managing multiple projects and performing other assigned duties, all while upholding CCHC Laboratories’ commitment to CARES (compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and service).

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Basic technical training, usually one year or more.
  • Intermediate computer ability.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and ATSS.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of the daily/weekly/monthly staffing schedules for the Outreach department.
  • Handle all aspects related to employee time records prior to timecard processing, including sick calls, filling open shifts, sign-ups, and daily schedule reconciliation.
  • Collect and collate vacation time requests for Supervisory approval.
  • Assist management in tracking open FMLA cases and the use of FMLA hours.
  • Function as the central communication source regarding staffing and scheduling issues and serve as a resource to all Supervisors and staff.
  • Be responsible for standardizing all scheduling in compliance with pay practices and SEIU Union regulations.
  • Be responsible for the overall coordination of department staffing and scheduling in line with budget and patient needs.
  • Assist employees in the use of the ATSS system.
  • Be responsible for tracking absenteeism and tardiness and generating reports for Department Directors/Supervisors.
  • Be responsible for the daily management of call traffic on the Attendance Line and providing payroll support to department Supervisors and Staff.
  • Successfully manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned or requested.
