About The Position

Canyon Ridge Hospital is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to prepare monthly nursing staff schedules and assist with daily unit assignments. The role works with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to determine department and unit staffing needs, adjusts staffing based on census and patient acuity, and maintains accurate records of staff availability, unit assignments, and call-offs. The position also ensures the Patient Advocacy Program meets regulatory requirements while preserving and protecting the legal rights of hospital patients. UKG experience is required.

Requirements

UKG experience required.
Experience in a psychiatric setting.
College-level reading, writing, and math skills.
Excellent telephone usage and strong verbal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Knowledge of health care delivery systems and third-party reimbursement.
Familiarity with medical terminology, diagnostic terms, and treatment modalities.
Strong interpersonal skills and familiarity with applicable standards and regulations.
Attention to detail and ability to comprehend psychiatric evaluations, consults, lab results, and similar materials.
Responsiveness to deadlines; assertiveness, persistence, and persuasiveness.
Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision.
