About The Position

Ignite Medical Resorts Crown Point is hiring an experienced nursing scheduler. The Nursing Scheduler partners with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to maintain the nursing department’s schedule. The role is the main point of contact for nurses and CNAs regarding shift and vacation scheduling and helps cover staffing gaps as they arise. Direct patient care may occasionally be needed. The position is full-time, and an active QMA is required.

Requirements

• An active QMA is required.
• Solid working knowledge of Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Previous scheduling experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• LPN licensure, CNA certification, or QMA certification is preferred for potential direct patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the nursing department’s schedule in partnership with the DON and ADON.
