STAFF SUPERVISOR (EVS HOUSEKEEPING) (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Coreworks is hiring a full-time Staff Supervisor for EVS housekeeping at Franke Tobey Jones in Tacoma, Washington. The role directs associates’ activities during an assigned shift and ensures work expectations are met while policies and procedures are maintained. The supervisor provides training, creates schedules, evaluates performance, recognizes strong performance, and addresses performance that does not meet reasonable standards. The role also prepares reports for management, monitors quality, productivity, and safety, and serves as a contact for associate complaints and time-off requests. The supervisor mentors and develops employees and encourages them to set goals and pursue advancement. Other duties may be assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The fixed pay rate is $30.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in healthcare environment EVS and/or housekeeping roles, and staff lead, supervisory, and/or managerial roles.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in healthcare environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during an assigned shift and ensure assigned job expectations are completed while policies and procedures are maintained.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline associates who do not meet reasonable performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management.
- Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Act as the contact person for associates with complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees, encouraging associates to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
