About The Position

As a Product Designer on Wealthsimple’s Growth team, you’ll design experiences that help grow the client base and make existing products more valuable as the community grows. Working with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, you’ll rethink referrals, support high-visibility campaigns, and lead new social features from the ground up. The role offers an opportunity to shape a new product area, move quickly, and deliver measurable impact. You’ll design growth loops that connect discovery, acquisition, engagement, and advocacy; explore social experiences such as profiles, discovery, creators, and sharing investing activity; and reinvent how people invite others to Wealthsimple, including QR-based invites. You’ll also shape campaigns such as Monthly Millionaire and Match, and use prototyping, launches, measurement, and iteration to learn what works. The designer owns experiences end-to-end, from discovery and strategy through interaction design, polished visuals, and micro-interactions. They partner with Product and Engineering to clarify ambiguous problems, identify opportunities, influence roadmaps, and bring ideas to life. The expected scope depends on level: Senior Product Designers independently lead high-impact growth initiatives from definition through launch and iteration; Staff Product Designers lead complex, ambiguous initiatives, establish direction for new product areas, and influence strategy and roadmaps across teams.
