About The Position
Join TeamHealth’s emergency medicine team at Memorial Hospital Pembroke, part of Memorial Healthcare System in South Florida. The 301-bed community hospital is described as ranking among the top 4% of accredited hospitals nationwide and offers a modern clinical environment with advanced technology and a patient-centered approach. TeamHealth has partnered with the facility since 1993, providing a stable, collaborative, physician-focused practice environment. The emergency department works alongside an adjacent urgent care center and serves a diverse patient population. It has 20 ED beds, an annual volume of 37,000 visits, a Level III trauma designation, medium acuity, and a fast track. Daily coverage includes 36 physician hours and 24 advanced practice clinician hours. The hospital also has an established hospital medicine program and a supportive multidisciplinary team with experienced nursing staff. The position is based in Pembroke Pines, Florida, near Fort Lauderdale and Miami. The posting highlights South Florida’s beaches, dining, cultural attractions, and year-round sunshine.
Requirements
- Board-certified in emergency medicine.
- Emergency medicine residency training.
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
