About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a physician to provide safe, high-quality emergency medicine care in the emergency department at OhioHealth Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio, about one hour north of Columbus. The physician will work with board-certified physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and other skilled emergency medicine professionals. The role offers opportunities to advocate for patients and colleagues, collaborate with nursing staff, and contribute to processes that improve care-team efficiency and patient outcomes. The emergency department has an annual volume of 40,000, 30 ED beds, a fast track, medium acuity, and a 28% admission rate. Physician coverage is 37 hours per day and advanced practice clinician coverage is 25–27 hours per day. The hospital has 250 beds, a hospital medicine program, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, and uses Epic.
Responsibilities
