About The Position
St. David's Georgetown Hospital, part of the St. David's Healthcare system, is seeking a dedicated emergency medicine physician. The hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center with an 18-bed emergency department and approximately 22,000 annual visits. Emergency medicine physicians see approximately 1.7 patients per hour, with an 11% admission rate. Coverage includes 26 hours of daily physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverage. The EMR is MediTech, and specialty backup includes anesthesiology, cardiology, ENT, gynecology, hematology/oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, and more. This is a W2 employed position with a base rate plus RVU compensation model. The role offers a sign-on bonus, paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage, and comprehensive benefits and health insurance. The position is in Georgetown, Texas, about 30 minutes north of Austin.
Requirements
- ABEM board certified or board eligible
- Active clinical practice within the last 12 months
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications; expired certifications are accepted
