About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, Tennessee, about 40 minutes east of Knoxville. Tennova Jefferson Memorial treats approximately 24,000 patients annually. The hospital serves residents of the Lakeway area and combines modern technology with a caring East Tennessee spirit. Its Jefferson City campus opened in 2001, and a major construction project in 2011 renovated and expanded the emergency room, added a new intensive care unit, and enhanced waiting and registration areas. The position is in a 17-bed, low-to-medium-acuity emergency department with Cerner EMR and 12 hours of APC coverage daily. Shifts are 12 hours, starting at 7 a.m. or 7 p.m.
Requirements
- Board certification in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine
