About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a physician who excels in quality patient care and is passionate about emergency medicine to join our team in Rome, New York. This role offers the opportunity to grow your EM career in Central New York, near the Adirondack Mountains. Rome Memorial Hospital is a 130-bed, non-profit community hospital affiliated with St. Joseph's Health and a clinical site of New York Medical College. The emergency department sees 34,000 patients annually, with 24 hours of physician coverage and up to 17 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage daily in a 14-bed ED with a fast-track. The position offers flexible scheduling and block shifts. Board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine or primary care with EM experience is required. A full-time sign-on bonus is available.
