About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join the team at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, California. The role involves providing compassionate care to patients in a technologically advanced emergency department. Sharp Grossmont is a 521-bed facility with a 43-bed emergency department, an annual volume listed as 108,000, and a throughput of 2.0 patients per hour. The facility is a certified STEMI receiving center and stroke center. The hospital’s emergency department operates 43 acute care beds around the clock, along with 21 minor care and observation beds during high-volume hours. It treats a diverse population and receives patients by helipad from rural areas. Compensation is estimated at $220 to $240 per hour, with the opportunity to earn incentives. The position offers a choice of W-2 employee or 1099 independent contractor status.

- ABEM or AOBEM certification.
