About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a physician to join the emergency medicine team at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Dickson City, Pennsylvania. The hospital opened in May 2022 and operates 24 hours a day. Physicians work 12-hour shifts alongside a physician assistant from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The emergency department sees approximately 20,000 visits, with volume growing.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine, or board certified in family medicine or internal medicine with extensive emergency medicine experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine care at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Dickson City.
- Work 12-hour shifts alongside a physician assistant.
