About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join the team at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, California. Physicians have the opportunity to work with emergency medicine residents from nearby programs, including the University of California San Diego. The position offers an estimated base compensation range of $230–$260 per hour, with the opportunity to earn incentives. The role offers 1099 independent contractor status or W-2 contract options.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).
- Demonstrated active practice in an emergency department reflective of the privileges requested.
- Successful completion within the past 12 months of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship, or research.
- Current California state license, or ability to obtain one before starting.
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Practice emergency medicine at Tri-City Medical Center.
- Work with emergency medicine residents from nearby programs, including the University of California San Diego.
