About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician to join its established team at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center in Casa Grande, Arizona. The physician will practice in a newly remodeled, 28-bed emergency department that serves approximately 40,000 patients annually. The department has a moderate-acuity patient population, with an 18% admission rate and 14% pediatric population, and has 36 hours of daily physician coverage and 22 hours of daily advanced practice clinician coverage. It uses the Cerner electronic medical record and operates as an EMS base station with 24-hour helicopter service. The team is recognized for strong performance metrics among comparably sized Banner Health hospitals. The role offers a collaborative clinical environment, physician and advanced practice clinician coverage, and support from TeamHealth, a national organization. Banner Casa Grande Medical Center is a 187-bed, full-service, nonprofit hospital established in 1984, with 170 physicians representing most major specialties. Casa Grande is located between Phoenix and Tucson and offers year-round sunshine, outdoor recreation, desert scenery, and a welcoming community.

Responsibilities
