About The Position
TeamHealth is hiring a physician to join the emergency department team at Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville, California. The opportunity is available full-time or part-time. The physician will practice in a Level IV trauma center with a 9-bed emergency department, approximately 10,000 annual visits, and a 13% admission rate. Resources include bedside ultrasound, broad specialty support, heli-services, and an EMS base station. Shifts are 12 hours. The physician may work as an employee or through an S-Corp. Compensation is estimated at $300 per hour, with travel covered when working four consecutive shifts.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine, or a primary care physician with emergency medicine experience.
