About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join its established, supportive team at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. The role is part of a multi-site system with Level III, Level IV, and freestanding emergency department programs within 25 miles of Abilene. Day, swing, and overnight shift coverage options are available. TeamHealth provides education, training, risk management resources, and clinical support to help clinicians anticipate patient needs and deliver care with confidence. The position offers a collegial work environment and an opportunity to contribute to patient care across the Hendrick Medical Center system.
Requirements
- Be a physician assistant or nurse practitioner passionate about emergency medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine patient care in a multi-site system serving the Abilene area.
- Cover shifts at Level III, Level IV, and freestanding emergency department locations, with day, swing, and overnight options.
