About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the team at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood in Brownwood, Texas. The role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, collegial environment with a focus on work-life balance. Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood is a 180-bed community hospital with a 13-bed emergency department, including two trauma rooms. It is a Level IV trauma center with an annual volume of 24,000, 38% fast-track visits, and a 10.5% admission rate. The department has 24 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage per day. The current EMR is Apollo, with an anticipated transition to EPIC. TeamHealth provides education, training, risk management resources, and support to help clinicians anticipate and meet patient needs. The position is located in Brownwood, a community in Central Texas with outdoor recreation, an affordable cost of living, and a community-oriented atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medicine patient care at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood.
- Anticipate and respond to patient needs in a clinical environment.
