About The Position
The Staff Pharmacist at Walmart provides pharmaceutical care and helps patients and community members with their healthcare and prescription medication needs. The role involves accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling customers, administering immunizations and other Walmart programs, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. The pharmacist also models and guides pharmacy staff in proper customer service. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and partners.
- Adaptability in responding to patient needs and a variety of medical concerns.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
