Staff Pharmacist - $15,000 Sign On Bonus
About The Position
As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care and use your clinical knowledge to work at the top of your license. Walmart Pharmacy operates in an energetic environment with resources and technology to support quality, heartfelt care and patients’ health and wellness. The role also contributes to community health and supports the pharmacy team in delivering strong customer service. The position is based at 561 Yopp Road, Jacksonville, North Carolina. The annual salary range is $98,000 to $172,000 for a 40-hour workweek; pay is prorated for other scheduled weekly hours. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is advertised.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and partners.
- Adaptability to patient needs and a variety of medical concerns.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
- Counsel customers about healthcare and prescription medication needs.
- Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Model and guide pharmacy staff in appropriate customer service approaches.
