Staff Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Inpatient Float Pool
About The Position
Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Staff Nurse to join its Inpatient Float Pool. This 0.9 FTE position works 12-hour night shifts, six shifts per pay period, and every third weekend. The nurse primarily supports critical care units (MICU, SICU, and Burn) and intermediate care units, and may also float to medical/surgical units as needed. Within the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible external candidates. Current employees, contract or temporary workers, and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of inpatient hospital RN experience or 1 year of acute intermediate care RN experience.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- A valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Minnesota.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of ICU RN experience.
- Certification in the area of clinical specialty.
- BSN preferred; advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
