About The Position

Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care. The position is in the Inpatient Float Pool and is 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period), with four 12-hour shifts per pay period. Shifts may be days or nights, with a weekend rotation every third weekend. Call is not required. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible external candidates; current employees, contract or temporary workers, and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of inpatient hospital RN experience or 1 year of acute intermediate care RN experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Minnesota.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of ICU RN experience.
• Certification in the area of clinical specialty.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); advancement in academic education is strongly encouraged and will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
