About The Position

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate each patient’s plan of care. The nurse creates an atmosphere that supports Adena Health’s vision to be the region’s most trusted healthcare partner. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making, as well as decisions made collaboratively with others. The position is in Medical Surgical at Adena Fayette, Washington CH, and is casual (as needed). The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care.
• Serve as the primary caregiver and provide direct patient care.
