About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Staff Nurse for The Barclay House of Baton Rouge. The role provides medical treatment and administers medications according to physician orders and within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assisted living. The nurse provides attentive care and service to residents, assists with memory and performance improvement programs, and serves as charge nurse for personal assistants on shift under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team. The position requires independent work with minimal direct supervision as well as collaboration with a team to make decisions, prioritize tasks, document clearly, and complete assignments. Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state.
Current CPR certification.
A caring attitude and willingness to serve others.

Dependability and willingness to work.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Assisted living or long-term care experience.
Current First Aid certification.

Responsibilities
