About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Staff Nurse for The Blake at Panama City Beach. The role provides medical treatment and administers medication according to physician orders and within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assisted living. The nurse provides care and service to residents, assists with memory and performance improvement programs, and serves as charge nurse for personal assistants on shift under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team. The schedule listed is 11 p.m.–7 a.m.; the position is offered as full-time or part-time.

Requirements

• A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• Current state-issued Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Assisted living or long-term care experience.
• Current First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders and within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assisted living.
• Provide care and service to residents while remaining flexible and adapting to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision and collaboratively with a team to make decisions, organize and prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.
