About The Position

The Staff Development Coordinator (RN) at Brownsburg Meadows conducts education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services. The coordinator also assists with new employee hiring. The role involves engaging with staff to champion employee recognition and retention programs and advocate for growth and development within the company. An on-call rotation is required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct education, skills competencies, and training.
• Perform clinical observations and quality assurance audits using designated tools.
• Assist with new employee hiring.
• Engage staff in employee recognition and retention programs.
• Advocate for staff growth and development.
• Lead and motivate others to follow infection prevention practices.
• Monitor, track, audit, and analyze data and trends to identify educational opportunities.
• Help create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
