About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring seasonal event security staff to support sports stadiums and other venues. The position focuses on access control, guest screening, crowd safety, and customer service. Team members help prepare for and execute event days, assist guests, and follow the policies and procedures of each venue. The role offers part-time, flexible scheduling under 30 hours per week and pays $15.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State or local licensing may be required before employment.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; additional screening may be required when driving a customer- or company-owned vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Manage venue entry by collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing incoming and outgoing traffic.
• Screen guests at entry through bag searches, hand wand or metal detector screening, and ID verification.
• Monitor vital checkpoints for security breaches to protect guests, staff, and venue assets.
• Respond to potential crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when ejection is warranted.
• Understand and follow policies, procedures, and regulations for different venues, facilities, and events.
• Provide a positive experience for guests at entrances, aisles, concourses, and other assigned locations.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their event experience.
