About The Position

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Event Security for game day events at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, New York. The position supports event preparation and operations while helping keep guests, staff, and venue assets safe. Responsibilities include managing venue access, screening guests, monitoring security checkpoints, addressing crowd-control concerns, and providing helpful, courteous service to guests. The role offers part-time, flexible scheduling under 30 hours per week and starts at $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; additional screening may be required when driving a customer- or company-owned vehicle.
Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Manage venue entry by collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing incoming and outgoing traffic.
Screen guests at entry through bag searches, hand-wand or metal-detector screening, and ID verification.
Watch for security breaches at vital checkpoints to protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets.
Respond promptly to potential crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Provide a positive experience for guests at facility entrances, aisles, concourses, and other locations.
Give guests helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
