About The Position

The Manager, Stadium Security supports the development, planning, and execution of security operations for South Florida Motorsports, including the Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix, Precision Drive Club, and other Miami International Autodrome events, as well as security initiatives across the Hard Rock Stadium campus. The role involves event operations, vendor oversight, and implementation of site management protocols. The Manager partners with internal stakeholders, public safety agencies, and security service providers to protect guests, participants, employees, and critical assets. The position is based onsite at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, and requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with leadership in a changing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to anticipate needs and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience operating CCTV and using an incident management system.
• Willingness to work nights, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Four or more years of venue security or event operations experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in sport management, business administration, or related studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advance site assessments and collaborate with local law enforcement on high-profile transportation and other accommodations.
• Conduct risk analyses for campus zones and develop race-week security plans tailored to each zone’s audience.
• Coordinate campus perimeter security, enforce prohibited-items policies, manage guest-flow systems, and oversee vehicle screening operations in accordance with venue safety standards and operational best practices.
• Oversee campus security vendor relationships, including recruitment timelines, training schedules and materials, and onsite operations.
• Manage large-scale events, contract security providers, and cross-functional operational teams.
• Assist with security oversight in event command, including CCTV, incident tracking, and compliance documentation.
• Serve as the primary contact for event stakeholders such as FIA officials, MDSO, and MDFR.
