About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring part-time Event Security staff in Orlando to work events at Inter&Co Stadium and potentially at convention center events. Stadium events pay $19 per hour. The position is based at an outdoor stadium and offers flexible scheduling. Event Security staff help keep guests, staff, and venue assets safe while providing customer service. Duties include preparing for and working events, managing venue entry, screening guests, monitoring security checkpoints, addressing crowd-control concerns, and assisting guests with directions and suggestions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a Security D-License for the position.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; additional screening may be required when driving a customer- or company-owned vehicle.
Must be able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with event-day preparation and execution.
Manage entry to venues, including collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing incoming and outgoing traffic.
Screen guests through bag searches, hand-wand or metal-detector checks, and ID verification.
Watch vital checkpoints for security breaches and protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets.
Respond promptly to potential crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when ejection is warranted.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Provide a positive experience for guests at facility entrances, aisles, concourses, and other locations.
Give guests helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
