About The Position

The Cleaner maintains cleanliness, stocks supplies, and upkeep of an assigned area within an arena, sports stadium, convention center, or other entertainment venue. Assigned areas may include restrooms, suites, and concourses. The Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete assigned tasks, which may include cleaning guest common areas, restrooms, and private or VIP suites; emptying trash receptacles; cleaning bodily fluids; and assisting guests with directions within the complex. The schedule requires flexibility and availability to work nights and weekends in support of stadium event operations. The position is located at 2515 Speedway, Austin, TX 78712, and pays $17.50 per hour, paid weekly. No experience or education is required, and on-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
No experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
Must be flexible and available to work nights and weekends in support of stadium event operations.

Responsibilities

Notify the Manager about the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, manually or using hand trucks.
Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Clean guest common areas, restrooms, and private or VIP suites; empty trash receptacles; clean bodily fluids; and assist guests with directions.
