The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a field-based role focused on driving demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines within an assigned portfolio and territory, for appropriate patients. The TAS engages health care providers (HCPs) through differentiated customer experiences and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with product labeling, while prioritizing safe and appropriate product use and business results. The role builds and maintains professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community-based physicians, medical practices, office staff, and other stakeholders across the patient care continuum, serving as a primary point of contact and coordinating with other BMS functions to address HCP needs. The role is anticipated to spend 100% of its time in the field with external customers. The territory includes Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin. The position promotes approved product indications, develops and implements territory and account plans, and uses available tools to inform customer engagement. It requires scientific expertise to present approved information accurately and fairly, conduct in-office presentations, organize speaker programs, stay current on emerging data for approved indications, and connect HCPs with medical support for unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries. The TAS also collaborates with other field teams and shares customer insights internally, while complying with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
