Sr. Technical Product Manager

About The Position

Keysight is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to engage hyperscalers, network equipment manufacturers (NEMs), silicon vendors, and AI data center operators on validation of high-performance data center network fabrics. The role leads technical discussions and proofs of concept, defines test methodologies for AI data center testing, and represents Keysight in industry forums. It works closely with Product Managers and R&D to bring customer needs into next-generation hardware and software test and measurement solutions. The position also involves delivering customer and industry presentations and demonstrations, contributing to emerging test methodologies and standards, documenting technical guidance, training sales and pre-sales engineers, and supporting product launches. Travel to customer sites, industry events, and plugfests may be needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Network Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is a plus.
At least 7 years of experience in network test, validation, design, or architecture roles, ideally in customer-facing or technical product roles.
Solid networking background in Ethernet switching, IP routing, and data center fabrics, including leaf-spine topologies and high-speed Ethernet.
Working understanding of AI data center networking and fabric performance, including congestion management (ECN, PFC, RoCEv2), load balancing, adaptive routing, and impacts on AI workloads and collective communication.
Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead technical discussions and run live demonstrations for engineers and senior stakeholders.
Ability to author clear technical content, such as application notes, white papers, and test methodology documents.
Self-driven, curious, and motivated to continuously learn emerging AI networking technologies and high-speed Ethernet.
Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and plugfests as needed.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to product management, such as contributing requirements or supporting product launches.
Experience in network test and measurement, including test plan design and hands-on use of tools such as traffic generators for demonstrations and proofs of concept.
Experience in network automation using Python, REST API, or Tcl, including developing and executing automated test cases and analyzing results.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying network functions and infrastructure as a service.
Basic familiarity with physical layer and optics, such as optical transceivers, copper cables, and CMIS.
A master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted technical advisor to hyperscalers, NEMs, silicon vendors, and AI data center operators; lead technical discussions and architecture reviews on AI data center network validation.
Define and document AI data center test methodologies covering congestion behavior (ECN, PFC, RoCEv2), throughput, tail latency, load balancing, adaptive routing, and collective communication workloads.
Plan and drive customer proofs of concept with Product Managers, Sales, and field engineers; define success criteria, execute tests, analyze results, and present findings.
Deliver technical presentations and live demonstrations of Keysight hardware and software solutions to customers, partners, and executive audiences.
Represent Keysight in industry organizations, including the Ultra Ethernet Consortium, Ethernet Alliance, and OCP, and at tradeshows, interoperability events, and plugfests; contribute to emerging test methodologies and standards.
Capture customer requirements and field feedback, and work with Product Managers and R&D to translate them into product features and roadmap priorities.
Publish technical collateral such as test methodology guides, application notes, white papers, and blogs.
Train Keysight sales and pre-sales engineers on solutions and use cases.
Support launches of new products and features through technical messaging, demonstrations, and customer-ready test cases.
