About The Position

Established in 1919 and traded on the NYSE, Standard Motor Products, Inc. Requirements

  • 4- 7 years of Enterprise Networking Experience.
  • Experience in network design and implementation, routing knowledge, firewall, switching, VLAN, Voice Technologies
  • VMWare and SAN management.
  • Ability to adhere to all SOX requirements.
  • Ability to use Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Project, Visio).

Nice To Haves

  • Azure Certification preferred, but not required (AZ-104, SC-300)
  • CCNA certification or similar preferred but not required
  • Network+ certification or similar preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer cloud networking components (Azure VNets, subnets, routing, DNS, VPN)
  • Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint connectivity)
  • Manage hybrid identity integration (AD sync, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access)
  • Support identity and access management integration (Active Directory / Entra ID)
  • Ensure seamless connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments (hybrid networking)
  • Assist with licensing, user provisioning, and access control
  • Manage and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity across all environments
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize performance
  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or failures
  • Implement and maintain network security controls (firewalls, segmentation, access policies)
  • Assist with audits and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX documentation)
  • Maintain network-related infrastructure systems (DNS, DHCP, VPN, backup connectivity)
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Perform system updates, patching, and maintenance across environments
  • Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests
  • Part of the Help Desk and Infrastructure teams
  • Work on Track-IT work orders as needed
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
  • Document troubleshooting steps, changes, and best practices
  • Contribute to standardization and automation efforts
  • Provide occasional after-hours/on-call support
