About The Position

Amica Insurance is seeking a paid intern for its Risk Management Department in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The intern will work primarily with the Third-Party Risk Management team and may also support Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity as needed. These teams focus on vendor risk and assessments, business and operational analysis, identifying key business processes, operational and enterprise risk assessments, and monitoring and reporting risks. The internship offers hands-on experience and may continue through the school year at reduced hours to accommodate the student’s schedule. It is designed for students who have completed their sophomore or junior year at an accredited college or university before the summer internship and will continue undergraduate studies in the fall. The role is paid and may involve working up to 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements

Have completed sophomore or junior year at an accredited college or university before the start of the summer internship and plan to continue undergraduate studies in the fall.
Be pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Actuarial, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Operations, or a related field.
Have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Submit a resume that includes GPA.
Be able to work independently once provided with instruction.
Have good interpersonal skills.
Have proficient computer skills and familiarity with software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.

Nice To Haves

Flexibility and willingness to learn a variety of computer programs, such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities
