About The Position

The Enterprise Risk Management Intern works closely with professionals on risk management initiatives to help identify and mitigate potential risks across the organization. The role provides exposure to Third Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, and IT Disaster Recovery, and offers practical experience in core risk management functions within the financial services industry. Assignments strengthen program documentation, data quality, governance, and operational preparedness.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, risk management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with relevant financial systems and industry practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Demonstrated interest in risk management and a desire to pursue a career in the field.

Responsibilities

• Support business continuity plan reviews, procedure documentation, and tabletop exercises.
• Assist with recovery governance, RTO/RPO roadmap activities, runbook reviews, and disaster recovery exercise readiness.
• Support third-party due diligence follow-ups, vendor data maintenance, reporting, mailbox coordination, and OneTrust administration.
• Contribute to structured assignments that strengthen program documentation, data quality, governance, and operational preparedness.
