About The Position

The Enterprise Risk Management Intern works with professionals across several departments, including Third Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, and IT Disaster Recovery. The internship provides practical experience in risk management and exposure to the financial services industry, while supporting initiatives to identify and mitigate potential organizational risks. Assignments focus on program documentation, data quality, governance, and operational preparedness.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, risk management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with relevant financial systems and industry practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Demonstrated interest in risk management and a desire to pursue a career in the field.

Responsibilities

• Support business continuity plan reviews, procedure documentation, and tabletop exercises.
• Assist with recovery governance, RTO/RPO roadmap activities, runbook reviews, and disaster recovery exercise readiness.
• Support third-party due diligence follow-ups, vendor data maintenance, reporting, mailbox coordination, and OneTrust administration.
• Complete structured assignments that strengthen program documentation, data quality, governance, and operational preparedness.
