About The Position

As a Risk Intelligence Intern on Rocket’s Enterprise Risk Management team, you will help identify, analyze, and monitor risks that could affect Rocket’s strategic goals. You will work alongside experienced risk professionals on real projects, gain a broad view of the business model, and learn how risk insights shape decisions. Projects allow for flexible approaches and innovation, giving you opportunities to take ownership, shape the approach, and demonstrate your capabilities.

The internship includes supporting enterprise risk assessments and targeted analyses; turning data and research into clear reports, summaries, and recommendations; contributing to projects such as AI-driven automation, risk surveys, and news scanning; and suggesting creative ways to improve team processes.

Nice To Haves

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• A self-starter mindset, with examples of taking initiative through class projects, clubs, work, or personal projects.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to move projects forward with minimal guidance.
• Experience or genuine interest in AI, especially tools like Claude.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
