About The Position

SentinelOne is seeking a security pre-sales engineer with expertise in the Endpoint Security (EDR), Gen AI Security, SIEM, and Threat Hunting space. This role involves working with Commercial Mid-Market prospects and customers across the South and Southeast territory, aligning their goals and requirements with SentinelOne offerings. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels in a high-paced environment, thrives on pitching revolutionary technology to executives and security practitioners, and will play an instrumental role in accelerating sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of experience in cyber security, preferably endpoint cyber defense.
  • Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences.
  • Concise written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with both executives and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully selling to mid-size and large customers.
  • The ability to provide 1st-level technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, and notable malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50 percent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the field of computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing or red teaming, or incident response is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns.
  • Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments.
  • Track and document aspects of the sales cycle, including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer.
  • Lead proof of concept and proof of value engagements.
  • Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery.
  • Recommend new and improved products to customers and explain how they will be more cost-effective.
  • Participate actively within the greater technical team, sharing experience and best practices.
