Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated success driving enterprise growth and managing high-impact programs and large-scale relationships with complex organizations

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-informed approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies within your market that align with BECU’s long-term strategic plan, driving sustainable membership and revenue growth.
  • Design and support targeted campaigns and community engagement efforts that expand BECU’s reach and relevance in key member segments.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, priority member segments, and strategic partnerships, using market intelligence to inform decisions and direction.
  • Own and deliver on membership growth and revenue targets within designated programs, supporting broader retail plans and priorities.
  • Lead large-scale initiatives, such as the Workplace Banking Program, to deepen relationships, drive member acquisition, and increase brand visibility.
  • Partner with Finance and Retail leaders to forecast, track, and report business development contributions to key organizational KPIs.
  • Plan and execute grand opening celebrations and other high-profile events that strengthen community engagement and awareness.
  • Grow relationships with existing affinity partners while developing new B2B opportunities aligned with BECU’s mission and values.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure growth initiatives are aligned, supported, and effectively executed.
  • Evaluate innovative business models, fintech partnerships, and digital expansion opportunities to support future growth.
  • Analyze market trends and member data to guide strategy and continuously refine business development approaches.
  • Contribute to operating plans and budgets in partnership with leadership.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Business Development and Branch teams, strengthening capabilities and performance across the network.
