About The Position

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead product innovation and strategy for core server product families. The role focuses on developing and integrating advanced GPU systems and rack-scale solutions for cloud providers, hyperscalers, and data center infrastructure customers. The product manager owns the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy, translating market insights into product solutions and collaborating with marketing, sales, engineering, and cross-functional R&D teams to bring products to market and support customer success. The position combines technical product development, customer engagement, and technology research. It involves defining product requirements based on customer needs, industry trends, and business goals; supporting sales efforts and customer opportunities; presenting Supermicro solutions; building customer-specific proof-of-concept solutions; and monitoring developments in servers, GPUs, AI, and data center infrastructure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
At least 8 years of hands-on experience in L10 system/server or L11 rack-level work is preferred.
Strong knowledge of enterprise and data center server architecture.
Experience in technical presales or product marketing.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to engage customers and drive adoption.
Ability and inclination to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Define product requirements based on customer needs, industry trends, and business goals across key verticals.
Partner with sales teams and Field Application Engineers to understand market demands, contribute to RFPs and SOWs, and identify business opportunities.
Work with cross-functional R&D teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Deliver technical presentations and whitepapers showcasing Supermicro’s technology.
Build proof-of-concept solutions that exceed customer business requirements and are tailored to customer needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product time to market.
Monitor emerging technologies in servers, GPUs, AI, and data center infrastructure to identify product opportunities and develop forward-looking proofs of concept.
Own the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy for Supermicro’s core server product families.
Execute product plans and support successful product launches.
