Sr. Product Manager
About The Position
The Resident Concierge Senior Product Manager will own the end-to-end customer experience for helping residents set up internet, utilities, and home services during a move. This role will focus on making the experience more delightful for residents and more efficient for the teams operating it, while accelerating growth in one of AppFolio’s newest and fastest-growing product areas. The role creates and delivers the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for the resident concierge journey; leads highly visible cross-functional growth initiatives; and inspires an engineering team to achieve ambitious outcomes. The Senior Product Manager makes informed trade-offs using customer insights and experimentation, and collaborates through influence with operations and business leaders. AppFolio describes its work environment as hybrid. Late-stage candidates must complete an in-person meeting with an AppFolian as part of the hiring process.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience building a best-in-class product.
- Strong product sense, including the ability to judge when to trust intuition and when to gather more data.
- High agency, including overcoming obstacles, recovering from setbacks, and taking initiative.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to distill complex ideas into a simple narrative.
- Ability to prioritize rigorously and create team focus and clarity on long-term initiatives tied to customer and business outcomes.
- Analytical rigor and comfort compiling and using qualitative and quantitative data to make decisions.
