About The Position

VARITE is looking for a qualified Sr. Product Manager, Buying Programs in San Jose, CA 95110 (Hybrid). The client is an American computer software company that offers a wide range of programs from web design tools, photo manipulation and vector creation, through video/audio editing, mobile app development, print layout and animation software. VARITE, established in the Year 2000, is an award-winning minority business enterprise providing global consulting & staffing services to Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies. With 850+ global consultants, VARITE is committed to delivering excellence to its customers by leveraging its global experience and expertise in providing comprehensive scientific, engineering, technical, and non-technical staff augmentation and talent acquisition services. This is a 6-month contract with possible extension, paying $85.00/hr. to $93.66/hr. on W2. The candidate will be on a 30-day probationary period. The role is hybrid and located in San Jose, CA / Lehi, UT / Denver, CO.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5+ years of full-time relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to be able to coordinate complicated projects.
  • Demonstrates understanding of our customers' needs, how sales teams work, and can effectively adapt with an evolving business.
  • Ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view; problem solver who can determine the best way to tackle the issues at hand while planning for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope and schedule while focusing on timely delivery of value from Concept Acceptance through to Release to Production.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, work independently, and drive initiatives by translating long-term strategies into specific solutions.
  • Use Jira, wiki, and other organizational tools to lead project status and working meetings, evaluate risks and issues, and overall solution delivery.
  • Perform new project request analysis and communicate effectively with different levels in the organization.
  • Support sales, marketing, and operation teams on existing licensing programs.
