About The Position

As a Sr Merchandise Specialist supporting women’s ready-to-wear categories for in-store and online channels, you will provide key executional support to merchandise buying and planning teams. The role is integral to setting up new vendors and maintaining item and vendor data across many SKUs. You will communicate on behalf of the department in meetings and by email, serving as a liaison for Import Operations, Transportation, Store Ops, and vendors. You will also coordinate samples and work with supply chain partners to solve problems and support successful product flow through Target’s network. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

The position operates in a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day arrangement. Core duties are performed both onsite at the assigned Target HQ Minnesota location and virtually, depending on the role, team, and tasks for the day. Work duties cannot be performed outside the country of the primary work location unless otherwise prescribed by Target.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• High sense of urgency and initiative as a self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
