About The Position

As a Sr Merchandise Specialist supporting women’s ready-to-wear categories for in-store and online channels, you will provide executional support to merchandise buying and planning teams. You will support new vendor setup and maintain item and vendor data across many SKUs. You will communicate on behalf of the department in meetings and by email, serving as a liaison for Import Operations, Transportation, Store Ops, and vendors. You will also coordinate samples and work with supply chain partners to support product flow through the network. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

The position operates in a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day arrangement based on Target’s needs. Work is performed both onsite at the assigned Target HQ location in Minnesota and virtually, depending on the role, team, and daily tasks. Work duties must be performed within the country of the primary work location unless otherwise prescribed by Target.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Detail-oriented multitasker.
• High sense of urgency and takes initiative as a self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
