About The Position

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Corporate Communications team. Reporting to the SVP, Internal Communications, this role will guide the product strategy, governance, and adoption of the company’s corporate employee channels, with a focus on the intranet, email, and Microsoft collaboration channels. The role builds partnerships across Communications, HR, Technology, functional teams, and NBCUniversal businesses, while driving work from strategy through execution. It will help advance a modern, connected, and cohesive employee ecosystem as NBCUniversal prepares to become a public, standalone company. The Senior Manager will serve as product manager and day-to-day site owner for NBCU’s employee intranet; support governance of internal messaging platforms; develop standards, training, and resources for content owners; explore responsible uses of AI and emerging technologies; support platform roadmaps and enhancements; and help define standards for enterprise collaboration channels. The role also develops communications about publishing expectations, governance changes, enhancements, and new platform capabilities. The position currently follows a hybrid schedule requiring work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The company reserves the right to change in-office requirements. The role is eligible for company-sponsored benefits and a salary range of $100,000–$125,000, plus bonus eligibility.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in digital communications, digital product management, or a related field.
Experience managing or supporting intranets, content management systems, employee email platforms, or enterprise collaboration tools.
Solid stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
Experience developing governance standards, publishing processes, templates, training materials, or content-owner resources.
Ability to interpret analytics and translate performance data into practical recommendations.
Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
Interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve and transform the employee experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as product manager and day-to-day site owner for the reimagined NBCU employee intranet, partnering with contributors across the company to keep information current, relevant, accessible, and aligned with platform standards.
Support strategy and governance for internal messaging platforms, including enterprise email, app, and AI agent communications; guide tool and channel selection and appropriate tone of voice.
Establish standards, processes, and best practices to create a consistent, effective employee communications experience.
Collaborate on training and development for content owners and channel managers, including resource materials, office hours, best practices, and communications about platform and governance updates.
Explore responsible uses of AI and emerging technologies to improve employee communications systems, particularly by integrating AI capabilities into the intranet.
Partner with Technology teams, vendors, and Communications leaders to gather requirements, support platform roadmaps, coordinate enhancements, and contribute to the evolution of digital workplace tools.
Partner with stakeholders to define and reinforce governance for Microsoft Teams, Slack, and other enterprise collaboration channels, including ownership, access, publishing, and channel-management standards.
Develop communications for content owners, channel managers, and stakeholders about publishing expectations, governance changes, platform enhancements, and new capabilities.
Interpret analytics and translate performance data into practical recommendations.
Manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines while leading cross-functional initiatives.
