About The Position

The Lead Digital Workplace Engineer serves as the technical owner of Valvoline Global's endpoint platform and provides leadership for endpoint engineering services. The role is accountable for endpoint strategy, architecture, engineering governance, security, compliance, service reliability, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement across endpoint technologies. It establishes platform standards, drives modernization initiatives, develops engineering talent, and ensures endpoint services support business operations while meeting security and compliance objectives. The role partners with Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Service Management, Digital Workplace Operations, the Service Desk, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver a secure, scalable, and supportable endpoint environment. The position leads endpoint platform strategy and operations across Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, Android, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and related digital workplace technologies. It sets roadmaps and engineering standards, leads endpoint security and compliance work, guides engineering activities, oversees incident response and service reliability, and implements automation and modernization capabilities. It also coaches and guides a small team of engineers while remaining actively engaged in strategy, architecture, engineering, and delivery. The role operates in a remote office environment with frequent computer and collaboration-tool use. It may involve occasional lifting or moving of equipment weighing up to 30 pounds, work outside normal business hours for scheduled changes, global coordination, or critical incidents, and up to 15% domestic and international travel.
