Sr. Director, Product Growth

Hello Heart
•$275,000 - $300,000

About The Position

Hello Heart is an AI company focused on heart health, building a platform that predicts and prevents cardiac events. The Sr. Director, Product Growth will lead growth across the product portfolio, helping enrolled members progress from enrollment to sustained use. The role defines activation across products, including the heart health app, medication adherence with a connected pillbox, and care models for Medicare members. It owns metrics tracking members from enrollment to repeated use, identifies where and why members drop off, and turns findings into recommendations, forecasts, and experiments for product leaders to act on. This is an in-product activation and engagement role, not an acquisition or performance marketing position and not a second product owner role. Product leaders own their roadmaps, while enrollment is managed with GTM. The Sr. Director will guide growth across the portfolio and establish measurement and experimentation standards. The role leads a new growth team and growth pod, partnering with designers, engineers, Member Marketing, Data, product leaders, and executives. It also establishes product operating mechanisms that account for the privacy, safety, and clinical guardrails required for a regulated health product. The position uses AI daily to accelerate analysis, decision-making, experimentation, and reporting. The role is full-time and based in the United States. The stated annual base salary range is $275,000 to $300,000; this excludes equity and benefits.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product, growth, or analytics-driven product roles, including 5+ years leading growth for B2C or B2B2C products at scale with a proven record of exceptional growth.
  • A proven track record of scaling products and features to large user bases, with measurable impact on engagement and retention.
  • Experience owning activation or retention metrics, with the ability to explain their starting and ending values and demonstrate how the candidate's work affected them.
  • Analytical depth, including writing SQL, working with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Tableau, and critically evaluating analyses before decisions are made.
  • Strong experimentation skills, including tests where traffic is limited or classic A/B testing does not fit.
  • Ability to think in systems rather than campaigns and experience building growth practices adopted by multiple teams.
  • A record of driving decisions across product leaders who do not report to the candidate.
  • Working knowledge of behavioral science and habit formation, applied responsibly.
  • Use of AI tools as a core part of analysis, prototyping, and shipping, and ability to create measurement foundations when data is messy.
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex funnel into one decision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience growing products where members are enrolled through a partner, such as an employer or health plan, and need a reason to start.
  • Healthcare, digital health, or other regulated-industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and execution for a new growth team across product lines, from identifying opportunities to shipping and iterating on solutions.
  • Own definitions of activation, engagement, and retention across product lines so teams consistently measure the path from enrollment to repeated use.
  • Improve core product metrics, including retention and adoption of key features.
  • Partner with Member Marketing, which owns lifecycle messaging, and with Data to coordinate in-product moments and lifecycle communication as one member journey, measured with trusted metrics.
  • Build product operating mechanisms across product lines, including shared metrics, an experimentation process, and a regular review cadence, with appropriate privacy, safety, and clinical guardrails.
  • Lead the growth pod hands-on, pairing with designers and engineers to ship experiments.
  • Report results, forecasts, and the decisions they imply to product leaders and executives.
  • Use AI daily to shorten the time from question to decision, including automated funnel monitoring and faster analysis and readouts.
