About The Position

As a Sr Bindery Operator, you will set up and operate various equipment while achieving standard production rates and quality standards. You will follow job instructions, maintain safe and orderly work areas, enter production data, perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting, and support team training and business needs. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Quality conscious.
• Able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Able to read, understand, and follow job instructions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and stand for long periods of time.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up jobs and follow ticket instructions to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time.
• Maintain or exceed quality standards and adhere to operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Enter production data into the Monarch data collection system, including task start and end times and production quantities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
• Complete routine maintenance and troubleshoot or make simple repairs as necessary.
• Provide training to other team members as requested by the supervisor.
• Work with the leader to provide feedback upstream to improve production.
• Help in other work areas when needed to support business needs.
