About The Position

As a Sr Bindery Operator, you will set up and operate various equipment and be responsible for meeting standard production rates and quality standards. You will follow job tickets and instructions to complete jobs correctly and on time, maintain operational, safety, and quality procedures, record production data in the Monarch system, and keep the work area clean and safe. The role also involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting and simple repairs, training team members when requested, providing feedback to improve production, and helping in other work areas as business needs require. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Quality conscious.
• Able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Able to read, understand, and follow job instructions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts and stand for long periods of time.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up jobs and follow ticket instructions to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time.
• Maintain or exceed quality standards and adhere to operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Enter production data into the Monarch data collection system, including task start and end times and production quantities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
• Complete routine maintenance and troubleshoot or make simple repairs as necessary.
• Provide training to other team members as requested by the supervisor.
• Work with the leader to provide feedback upstream to improve production.
• Help in other work areas as needed to support business needs.
